A Love For Nature From An Early Age

Both girls found a love and affinity for nature at an early age.

Each of them growing up on property, Alisha in the South Eastern suburbs and Tarnia in a country town within the Gippsland area. They lost themselves spending endless days outside as they found comfort in the natural world away from their daily lives.

As they grew so did their respect for Mother Nature and as they came together as partners in life, AT Garden Spaces found its way into their lives.

Alisha’s desire to be outside drew her to landscaping in her teenage years, as she discovered the impact and importance of creating that connection and balance in her life through gardening with her hands in the soil.

Tarnia’s natural talents of organisation and management lead her into the world of project management early on in her life, always contributing to their business behind the scenes. Once her desire to be outside became more than wanting to be surrounded by the four walls of an office, both her and Alisha felt it was time to step into her partnership role full time.

Today they can either be found in their home garden with their four legged family members or camping off in the high country of Victoria. Not to miss an opportunity to spend time in nature they also spend their time hiking or simply strolling in the local botanical gardens.

Continuing to bring their experience, knowledge and understanding of nature back into their business everyday, their hope is that they may impart some portion of their passion, for the natural environment, onto the next person they meet.

Making some small or grand impact in another’s life to inspire them to return to nature and contribute back to this world, is something they aspire to each and everyday.
